Bio


As tax director for Goering & Granatino, Julie Albano reviews all returns and manages the day-to-day operations in the tax department while helping tax team members develop professionally and better serve clients. However, her true passion is helping clients create strategic plans to save money and limit their tax liabilities.

Julie draws on more than 20 years of experience to assist clients with an emphasis on research and development (R&D) tax credit work; multi-state apportionment calculations; percentage of completion measurements and look-back calculations for manufacturing and construction companies; real estate; and physician offices.

Julie spent more than 13 years as an auditor working with manufacturing companies ranging from $5 million to $250 million in revenue throughout the country before transitioning into the tax side of public accounting. She also served as CFO of a Kansas-based food services provider.
